Power Verse: The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him. ~Exodus 15:2
Well basically while my parents were still together, I grew up Christian, but I never really got into it. My dad kind of gave me a false impression of being Christian, by the time I was 12 I had basically not gone to Church anymore. Well advancing a few years one day my friend asked me persistently to come w/ him to his Church. I kept telling him no, but finally one week, like a month before school was out last year, I walked up to him and said, "Hey, would it be cool if I went w/ you to Church this week?" I went to Calvary Assembly and never looked back. I think the first time I really experienced Christ is while I was at Youth Retreat...Pastor Dan was preaching and praying over all of us, and then I just felt the best feeling of my life right there, it brought me down to my knees, I was almost in tears. I felt forgiveness for all of my sins, everything that was a burden on my shoulders was gone, for the first time I felt relief from all the stress that the real world caused...I was then Baptized a few weeks later.
